    UNILAG Bans Pets, Livestock To Safeguard Campus

    The management of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, has banned the rearing of dogs, livestock and other pets on campus.

    The information was contained in a news bulletin by the school authorities released on Friday.

    “Members of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) community, particularly residents of the staff quarters (including boys’ quarters), are hereby reminded of the university policy prohibiting the rearing/keeping of pets such as dogs, poultry and other livestocks.

    “All members of the University Community are implored to abide by this policy which is aimed at safeguarding lives and properties on campus, ” the statement read.
