Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command attached to Iddo police division have arrested one Nuhu Ezra of Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja, with a human skull and bones.
Police arrested Ezera on Tuesday around 9 pm while acting on credible intelligence.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, July 10, by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josphine Adeh: “The suspect, who was found with the body parts upon interrogation, stated that he picked them up from the bush while hunting at Kuje and had the intention to sell the body parts for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000).
“While the commissioner of police, FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh, psc, mni, has ordered that a thorough investigation be conducted to ascertain the bearer of the body parts, the intended buyer, if the suspect killed anyone to be in possession of the body parts, and how long the suspect has been in the alleged business, he urges residents to be wary of their environment and report suspicious activities through the police emergency lines: 08032003913, 08028940883, 08061581938, and 07057337653 PCB: 09022222352, CRU: 08107314192.”
