The #EndBadGovernance protesters have been arraigned and remanded in prison by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Their bail application is scheduled to be heard and ruled on September 11, 2024.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the six-count charge of terrorism brought against them by the Nigerian government.

Their bail application was opposed on the grounds that some charges carry capital punishment.
The judge ruled that they should be remanded at the Kuje Correctional Center in Abuja, with the female defendant to be remanded at the Keffi Correctional Center in Nasarawa state.

The court adjourned till September 11 for the ruling on their bail application.
The charge, filed on August 30, 2024, accuses the defendants, including a British citizen, of treason, destabilizing the country, intimidating the President, and destroying the NCC in Kano, among other offences.

The defendants are accused of conspiring to destabilize the country and commit treason between July 1 and August 4, 2024.
