The Recording Academy, the organizers of the annual Grammy Awards headed by its Chief Executive Officer, Harvey Mason (Jr), has announced that come Friday, November 8th, 2024 it would unveil the nominees for the 67th edition.

Some key changes have been made to the annual GRAMMY Awards process which includes, adjustments to eligibility criteria, category renaming and the submission guidelines for the “Songwriter of The Year”, and “Non-classical” categories.

The amendments which were voted on and passed to the Recording Academy’s semi-annual Board of Trustees at a meeting, was designed to enhance the integrity and inclusivity of the awards which reflect the Academy’s commitment to staying current with the evolving music industry.

The changes take effect immediately at the 2025 GRAMMY scheduled to hold on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 at the Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, California, United States.

The forthcoming 67th Annual Grammy Awards will honor creative works of the best recordings, compositions and artists from September 16th, 2023 to August 30th, 2024.
