Fellow celebrities have sympathised with Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, as fire gutted one of her buildings, even as no life was lost in the incident.

The actress took to her Intagram page to upload a video of the burnt edifice and captioned it “Devastated! Thank God no life was lost! It is well.”

Aigbe’s post has drawn an overwhelming response from fans and industry colleagues.

Fellow actress Toyin Abraham empathised deeply with Aigbe, commenting, “Jesus Olorun, no wonder you were crying on phone. I’m so sorry, sis ,” while Juliet Ibrahim remarked, “Omg glory be to God! So sorry.”

Celebrities such as Odunlade Adekola, Iyabo Ojo, and Nancy Isime also shared their condolences and relief with Aigbe. Odunlade commented, “Jesus Christ, so sorry oooo,” and Iyabo wrote, “Oh my goodness so sorry, this is sad.” Nancy Isime added, “Oh noooo! So sorry Big Sis.”

Others, including Adunni Ade, Bimbo Thomas, and Jigan Babaoja, echoed heartfelt sentiments. Bimbo exclaimed, “Haaaa Oluwa o, so sorry about this o, Jesu,” while Jigan emphasised the importance of life, saying, “Omg let’s thank God for life.”

The outpouring of love and support from colleagues and fans highlighted the strong bonds within the entertainment industry and underscored the importance of community in times of hardship.
