A woman has been confirmed dead after jumping into the lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State.

According to a statement by the Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, the incident occurred on Thursday around 4 p.m. near the University of Lagos waterfront.
