The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered the immediate unsealing of secretariats of the 23 local government areas of Rivers State. The order came amidst widespread condemnations that trailed the initial unprovoked sealing of the secretariats and involvement of the police in Saturday’s local government election. A Canadian woman, Adrienne Munju, has been arrested by the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The arrest happened at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos where the 41 years old was nabbed for importing a large consignment of ‘Canadian Loud’, a strong strain of synthetic cannabis.
