The United States has offered support to Borno flood victims. The devastating floods ravaged Maiduguri and its environs resulting in loss of life, destruction of property, and the displacement of many families.  The US government in a statement by the Embassy in Abuja also extended condolences to the victims, their families, and all those impacted by the disaster. The Ondo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said the results from the just concluded governorship election in Edo State where APC’s Monday Okpebholo was declared the winner by INEC represents a rape on Nigerian democracy. There is a reprieve for Abdullahi Ganduje, the APC National Chairman, as a Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit seeking his removal oas the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
