Justices R.M Aikawa and Hauwa’u Buhari of the Federal High Court, sitting in Kaduna have convicted and sentenced five persons to prison for fraud. Enobie of the FCT High Court, sitting in Jabi, Abuja has convicted and sentenced the director of Asher Trust Investment Limited and Fifteen Network Limited, Daniel Ungbo Silas to five years imprisonment for fraud. Justice Rosemary Ojukwu of the Federal High Court Calabar, Cross River State has convicted and sentenced the trio of James Emmanuel Ime (a.k.a David Young), Kingsley Friday Ime (a.k.a Alex Wan) and Udeme Clement Edward (a.k.a Suchi Wan) to various jail terms for internet fraud. The alleged sexual abuse case involving the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is already before the highest staff disciplinary body, a top official has confirmed. The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar had taken the matter to the Office of the Head of Service.
