The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said it has delivered sensitive materials that will be used for Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Edo State. The materials, according to a tweet on its X handle, arrived Benin Airport earlier on Wednesday. “Sensitive materials for the Edo State Governorship election, holding on Saturday 21st September 2024, arrived at Benin Airport earlier today”, the commission tweeted. The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has said that the males in Nigeria are getting more infected with the dreaded Monkey Pox (Mpox) than females. This is according to statistical figures NCDC posted on its website. According to the figures obtained, 67 percent of Mpox cases recorded since January 2024 have been in males.
