The Ogun State Government has disclosed procedures for the conversion of vehicles using Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered-enabled engines. Commissioner for Transportation, Engr. The Niger State Government and the state chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have reached and signed agreement for the implementation of N80,000 minimum wage. This was contained in a communique issued at the end of the State Executive Council SEC meeting of the NLC held at the labour House in Minna on Friday 22, November, 2024 and signed by the State Secretary of the Council, Comrade Salihu Mohammed Rijau. The Federal Government has not stopped disbursement of funds to Rivers State contrary to reports on some online platforms on Friday. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has disowned the controversial pro-Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, maintaining that he was never a member of the group. Emma Powerful, the spokesperson of the IPOB, disclosed this in a statement on Friday. The Enugu State Government has said it is ready and willing to provide evidence that will aid prosecution of Simon Ekpa who was arrested in Finland on Thursday over allegation of sponsoring terrorism in Nigeria. Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has given an order of interim injunction restraining the All Progressives Congress (APC) from concluding its ongoing ward, local government area and state congresses in the state.
