Additional forty four million teachers will be needed worldwide in order to meet the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4. This is according to a report by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), under the auspices of the World Bank, which said there is a global shortage of 44 million teachers. SDG 4 is the United Nations’ goal to ensure quality education for all and promote life-long learning. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced that the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company (Warri Refinery) with a capacity of 125,000 barrels per day, has commenced operations.
