The governor of Anambra state, Chukwuma Soludo has said that no one will receive up to N2,500 if all Anambra revenues were distributed to the state’s citizens individually. The Federal Government will unveil the world’s largest painting portrait on a canvas at the 25th Anniversary of Democracy Day today at Eagles Square, Abuja. Mr. Opeyemi Alaba the innovator of the painting described it as a message of hope for Nigerians and Africa. He said that the painting was created by 37 different painters representing the 36 states and FCT. Alaba also mentioned that the inspiration for the portrait was gotten from portraits of former U.S. President Barack Obama and Queen Elizabeth.

Veteran actor, Dayo Adewunmi, popularly known as Sule Suebebe, has been feared dead. The Yoruba top actor, who had been bedridden for months reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. The news of his demise was announced by a popular Ibadan-based cleric, Pastor Ademola Amusan, a.k.a. Agbala Gabriel, in whose care the late thespian had been for some months. The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has said former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has lost over 70 per cent of his political followership in the state.
