The Corporate Affairs Commission has announced its intention to cancel the certificates of incorporation of Bureaux De Change whose licences were revoked by the Central Bank of Nigeria earlier this year. The Lagos State Government, yesterday, commenced demolition of all marked shanties and other illegal structures erected along the Gbagada-Bariga drainage channel. This followed the expiration of a 48-hour quit notice issued by the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab to owners of Illegal structures along water channels in the area. An Assistant Manager with Zenith Bank Plc, Mrs Ifeoma Ogbonnaya, has revealed that the embattled Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Governor Godwin Emefiele, and his wife Margaret, were not signatories to the account alleged to have been owned by them.
