Mr Takai Shamang, former leader of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), who was abducted by kidnappers on July 5, has been freed. The abductors had invaded his Biniki village in Kaura Local Government of Kaduna State and took away the 78-year-old former unionist. President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Idris Ajimobi as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Livestock Development (Office of the President).
