President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Idris Ajimobi as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Livestock Development (Office of the President). The appointment follows the recent inauguration of the Presidential Committee on Implementation of Livestock Reforms and the establishment of a new Ministry of Livestock Development. Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau has declared three days of mourning in response to the tragic loss of lives and injuries sustained by teachers and students of Saints Academy, Jos following the school building collapse. The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has debunked rumours in the media claiming that the Federal Executive Council (FEC), stepped down inherited road projects.
