A former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, and the Dujima of Adamawa, Alhaji Musa Halilu, on Sunday, visited former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State. A former presidential aide, Buhari Sallau, shared photos from the visit on his X account with the caption, “The former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasiru Elrufai & Dujima of Adamawa, Alhaji Musa Halilu paid a Sallah homage to His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State on 23rd June 2024.”

The Lagos State Government has issued a 14-day removal notice to owners of buildings and structures in the Sangotedo area of Lekki and Okota, Isolo, which were built on drainage channels. According to the ultimatum, the owners must remove the structures within the notice period or face demolition. The organizers of the 5th edition of the 2024 African Illustrious Son Award announced that 37 people received various awards at the recently concluded award night held at Oriental Hotel, Lagos. Plateau state governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has hosted representatives from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group in a bid to attract investments aimed at revitalizing the state’s industrial sector.
