Arsenal’s bid to win the Premier League could suffer a major setback following reports Kai Havertz is set to be ruled out for the remainder of the season. The House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions has summoned the Comptroller General of Nigerian Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi, to appear before it Tuesday next week. According to a statement by the Media Head, Public Petitions Committee of the House of Representatives, Chook Oko, Adeniyi is to answer a petition before the Committee over the refusal of some top officials of the service to leave the service after their due retirement dates. Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has stated that the decentralisation of Rivers State University (RSU) campuses has not yielded the expected outcomes. US President Donald Trump has fired the independent inspector general for the US Agency for International Development (USAID), US media outlets reported on Wednesday. Following intense opposition from stakeholders, the Nigeria Customs Service has announced the suspension of the implementation of a 4% Free-on-Board (FOB) value on imports. Customs’ spokesman, Abdullahi Maiwada, in a statement on Tuesday, said the suspension would enable comprehensive engagement and consultations between the Minister of Finance Olawale Edun and other stakeholders.
