Lagos State Commissioner for Establishments and Training, Afolabi Ayantayo, has disclosed that 30% of civil servants who embarked on state-sponsored training programmes abroad failed to return after completing their programmes. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that it recorded some technical errors that affected the credibility of the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The Federal Government has announced temporary closure of the Ijora-Marine Bridge in Lagos State, from May 18, to carry out urgent repairs that will last for 21 days.
