Chairman of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Tajudeen Olusi on Tuesday says not all northerners are unhappy with the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
In an interview with TheScrutinyNG, Olusi, a former member of the House of Representatives in the Second Republic said while some northerners have expressed regret for voting Tinubu, there are equally many northerners who have praised him and want him to continue for another term in office.
“I disagree entirely with the notion that northerners are unhappy with President Bola Tinubu. When you say ‘northerners’, you are generalising it. It connotes that majority of the people in the north are unhappy with the president. That is not correct”.
“I want to accept that I have read in the media statements from some northerners who are expressing their disagreements and objections to certain aspects of governance. They are entitled to their opinion”.
“But I also take cognizance of the fact that a number of people in the north have praised the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and it is the responsibility of all of us Nigerians to continue to support the government”.
