Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo on Sunday hailed former Delta State governor, Chief James Ibori as an inspirational leader who has provided fatherly guidance for him.
Okpebholo disclosed this in a social media post after paying Ibori a courtesy visit at his residence in Oghara, Delta State.
According to him, Ibori shared valuable insights with him on fulfilling eiectoral promises, offering true service to the people and providing essential amenities which will uplift peoples lives.
He wrote: “Today,I led my team on a courtesy visit to H.E. Chief James Ibori , former Governor of Delta State, at his residence in Oghara, Delta State”.
“He shared invaluable insights on leadership and governance, emphasising that true service is about fulfilling promises and providing essential amenities to uplift the people, especially at the grassroots.”
He continued: “I deeply appreciate his fatherly guidance and unwavering support. Before the election, he stood by me, asking for nothing but offering wisdom like a father to a son.”
“Today, I came to appreciate him. His leadership remains an inspiration.”
