The Katsina State Government has revised the curfew that was recently implemented across the state.

Previously set from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, the curfew has now been adjusted to 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. This change follows a review of the security situation, which Acting Governor Mallam Faruk Lawal deemed satisfactory.

Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, Abdullahi Garba Faskari, announced that the decision to relax the curfew was made based on positive reports about the improved security conditions.

“Mallam Lawal appreciated the general conduct of the security personnel and the people’s cooperation while the government was trying to control the situation,” Faskari stated.

The Director of Press in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, Abdullahi Yar’adua, also emphasised that the Acting Governor advised residents to remain law-abiding and continue with their daily routines.
