Former minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami has condoled with the family of Professor Yusuf Saidu, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Innovation and Development Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDUS) Sokoto over his untimely passage.
The late university don was killed by bandits on his way to Kaduna from Sokoto yesterday.
Writing on his official Facebook page, Pantami prayed for the repose of the soul of Saidu and also prayed to God to expose the perpetrators of the dastardly act.

The death has occurred of Professor Yusuf Saidu, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Innovation and Development Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDUS) Sokoto. He was attacked and killed by Bandits on his to Kaduna from Sokoto as reported by UDUS”.
“May the Almighty Allah expose the perpetrators and protect the citizens from their evil plans”.
“Our heartfelt condolences to his family, the VC, Prof. Bilbis, the university community, his relatives and associates, while praying to the Almighty Allah to admit him into Jannatul Firdaus”.
