Afrobeats sensation Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, has arrived his hometown of Benin, Edo state, ahead of his highly anticipated homecoming concert.
His record label, Mavin, on Tuesday, shared a video of his arrival on X.com, captioned “Benin, your illustrious son; The Prince of Afrobeats – Rema is Home!”
The concert, scheduled for August 30 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, was first announced by the Ozeba crooner in July.
This is coming after Governor Obaseki’s previous attempt to host Rema in December 2023 was cancelled due to health concerns.
