The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rescheduled its previously postponed South-South Zonal Congress for Saturday, April 12, 2025.
This was disclosed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Debo Ologunagba, in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday.
According to Ologunagba, the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) has also approved the rescheduling of the South-West and North-Central Zonal Congresses from March 22 to April 12, 2025.
The congresses will take place simultaneously in Port Harcourt (South-South Zone), Ibadan (South-West Zone), and Jos (North-Central Zone) to elect Executive Officers and National Ex-Officio Members in line with the party’s constitution and guidelines.
The NWC urged aspirants, party leaders, stakeholders, members, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the media to take note of the new date and prepare accordingly.
