We’ll Further Diminish APC’s Influence In Kano — Kwankwaso

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano State, has vowed to cut the votes of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections, aiming to reduce the party’s support to just 15,000 votes in the state.

Kwankwaso made this pledge during a meeting with former councillors and senior special advisers who served under his previous administration, alongside stakeholders from Tsanyawa Local Government Area, at his residence in Kano.

Reflecting on the 2023 elections, Kwankwaso credited the hard work of his team for achieving remarkable results.

Despite the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) being a relatively new political force and launching its campaign late, the party was able to garner major attention, with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) only securing 15,000 votes in Kano.

“Now, it’s our turn to diminish APC’s influence. We will work tirelessly to ensure their votes are reduced to less than 15,000 in Kano come 2027,” Kwankwaso stated.

Now focused on the 2027 elections, Kwankwaso declared his intention to diminish APC’s influence in the state, emphasising the need for tireless effort and grassroots mobilisation to ensure his party’s dominance.

He urged his supporters to stay dedicated and work towards securing a resounding victory in the upcoming polls.
