Controversial singer Portable has lashed out on Davido after the latter unfollowed him on Instagram.
The controversy began when Portable accused Davido of giving him “bad advice” regarding record labels, claiming Davido advised him against signing with Sony Music and instead suggested Empire, which Portable perceived as a hindrance to his Grammy aspirations.
In response to Davido unfollowing him, Portable asserted his independence, stating he doesn’t need Davido’s support or followership to achieve success or win a Grammy.
He implied that Davido only unfollowed him because he was no longer beneficial to him.
Portable confidently declared that he will proceed with his tour and achieve his goals, including winning a Grammy, regardless of Davido’s actions.
Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram page, Portable said: “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammy.”
