Chelsea will find out their Europa Conference League play-off opponents on Monday when the draw takes place in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Blues finished sixth in the Premier League last season but missed out on a Europa League spot after eighth-placed Manchester United defeated champions Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

Enzo Maresca’s side has had a challenging start to pre-season, with only one win in four matches, including a recent 4-2 loss to Manchester City on Saturday.

Chelsea are in the main path of the play-off round, meaning they are seeded and will start their campaign against an unseeded team.

According to information on UEFA’s website, the London side has been placed in Group 3 and could face one of the winners of the following ties:.

Maribor (Slovenia) or FK Vojvodina (Serbia)
Braga (Portugal) or Servette (Switzerland)
Spartak Trnava (Slovakia) or Wisla Krakow (Poland)
Paksi FC (Hungary) or Mornar (Montenegro)
St Patrick’s Athletic (Ireland) or Sabah (Azerbaijan)

However, if the Blues draw Braga or Servette, they will play the loser of that Europa League third qualifying round tie.

The Conference League first leg is scheduled for Thursday, August 22, with the return a week later, on Thursday, August 29.
