A youth group within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Forward Nigeria Youth Mission (FNYM) has hailed the appointment of a chieftain of the party, Omoba Tunde Ajibulu mni as the Deputy Executive Secretary (Services) of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).
In a statement on Tuesday, Coordinator of the group, Kehinde Ajisefini said with Ajibulu’s appointment, President Tinubu has once again demonstrated his “knack for placing the right persons in the right positions”.
It also said the appointment is a reward for the vital role played by Ajibulu as a member of the 2023 APC presidential campaign council which delivered the presidential election for President Tinubu.
The group also congratulated Mr Idris Olorunnimbe who was appointed as the Chairman of the UBEC) Board and Rasaq Olajuwon who was appointed as UBEC’s Deputy Executive Secretary (Technical).
“It is with delight we in the Forward Nigeria Youth Mission (FNYM) received the news of the heartwarming announcement of the appointment of Omoba Tunde Ajibulu as the Deputy Executive Secretary (Services) of UBEC.
“UBEC is in a for a transformative reform with these appointments, especially in the services areas given Ajibulu’s commitment and intellectual endowment. We wish him and other members of the team godspeed in their new national assignment” the group said.
