Former Big Brother Naija contestant Mercy Eke has expressed her distress and frustration over her funds being stuck at Heritage Bank.

She revealed through a series of tweets on her X account that she has over N100 million trapped in the bank.

According to her, she was advised to open an account with Heritage Bank during her time on the show, as they were the sponsors, and her account manager persuaded her to invest her funds despite knowing about the bank’s issues.

Her post has sparked concern and outrage among fans and followers, who are offering support and advice in the comments.

Many are criticizing the bank for alleged unethical practices and urging Mercy to seek legal action.

Others are offering words of encouragement and urging her to stay strong and hopeful for a resolution.

She wrote: “I really don’t know how to react to this … I have been hoping for the best thinking there’s a way out…. #heritagebank. It was the bank that sponsored Bbn during my set, for them to pay our money we were advised to open an account with them… stupid me went ahead and funded the account … don’t worry, I’m full of regrets right now. I have above 100m with them.

“My account manager lured me into fixing my money, knowing fully well there have been issues with the bank … I don’t have words for her, I blame myself.”
