The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has continued with flood intervention in Rivers State by distributing relief items to those affected by the disaster in the Ruhali Community of Ogbogoro Kingdom, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area. The relief items, including rice, garri, vegetable oil and seasoning, were distributed directly to the beneficiaries by NEMA in collaboration with the Rivers State Emergency Management Agency. The NLC made this known on Sunday in a communique signed by its President, Joe Ajaero, at the end of its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
