The Federal Government, through the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (P-CNGI), has activated about 125 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion centres nationwide. This was disclosed by Michael Oluwagbemi, the chief executive officer of P-CNGI, who revealed that that 125 centres had surpassed the 100 centres earlier anticipated. Oluwagbemi, in an interview in Abuja, added that additional N80 billion worth of CNG investments were generated within the last one week. The Court of Appeal has affirmed the position of Martins Amaewhule as the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, dismissing an appeal that challenged his leadership. The House of Representatives has assured that bills to improve eye care services in Nigeria are underway. Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Four Palestinian youths were martyred Wednesday evening after Israeli special forces (undercover) opened fire on the vehicle they were riding in in the city of Nablus.
