Heavily armed policemen late Wednesday night invaded the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Headquarters, commonly known as Labour House, in Abuja. The operation began just before 9 pm, with the police force storming the building and conducting a search of both the second and tenth floors. The Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended one Omowaye Ayodele popularly known as Baba Ogbon, over the death of the former deputy vice chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Professor Oluwafemi Olaofe.
