The Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State capital on Monday dismissed a lawsuit filed by Kenneth Imansuagbon challenging the candidature of the Labour Party (LP), governorship candidate, Bar Olumide Akpata for the Edo State governorship race. The court ruled that it lacked jurisdiction to entertain the suit, adding that the suit lacked merit and was based on speculation. A 34-year-old man was charged with two counts of murder by British police on Monday as they identified his victims whose remains were found last week in suitcases on a Bristol bridge and in a London residence.
