Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has formally defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The announcement came on Wednesday after a closed-door meeting held at the Government House in Asaba. The Nigeria Police Force has declared wanted Ihuoma Julia Nneji, a daughter of the founder of the popular ABC Transport, Frank Nneji, for alleged cyber crime. Nneji was declared wanted Tuesday night by the office of the Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Center, (NPF NCCN), Abuja as posted on the Force official Facebook page. Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde on Tuesday said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) could have won the 2023 presidential election if it had fielded former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike as Vice- Presidential candidate to the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. The Rivers State Government has rejected the claim by the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) that the N300m given by suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara was a ‘gift’.
