Ondo Governor’s Sacked Aide, Kikelomo Isijola, Reacts To Dismissal With Cryptic Facebook Post

Kikelomo Isijola, one of the recently dismissed media aides of Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has taken to Facebook to share a cryptic message following her sudden removal from office.

In a post on her Facebook page, Isijola wrote:

“With our eyes shall we see the wicked fall into the pit they have dug for us.
May our eyes be open only to good and beautiful things that will make us jump for joy. #Goddess”

The post, which was accompanied by a picture of herself, has sparked reactions online, with many interpreting it as a subtle response to her dismissal.

Isijola, who served as the Special Assistant on Digital Media, was relieved of her duties alongside Ewatomilola Emiola, the Senior Special Assistant on Research & Documentation. The sack was announced on Tuesday in a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, as part of a reorganisation of the Government House Media team.

While the reasons for their removal were not explicitly stated, Isijola’s post suggests she may have taken the development as an act of fate rather than a setback. Some supporters have flooded the comment section of her post with words of encouragement, while others speculate on the circumstances surrounding her dismissal.

Governor Aiyedatiwa, in his statement, thanked the affected aides for their service and wished them well in their future endeavors.
