It Is Shameful For Daniel Bwala To Call Himself President Tinubu’s Servant – Reuben Abati

Former presidential media aide and Arise Television anchor, Dr. Reuben Abati has taken a swipe at Daniel Bwala for referring to himself as a servant of President Bola Tinubu.
Bwala, the Special Adviser, Policy Communication to the president had described himself and other appointees of President Tinubu as servants who are working together to achieve the mandate of the president.
“We are working to achieve the mandate of Mr. President. What I can tell you is that, all of us are servants of the President. There is no issue as to the differences in terms of the responsibility”.
But speaking on Arise TV, Abati said it is shameful for Bwala who had criticised President Tinubu before now to describe himself as a servant.

“Now Daniel Bwala was on television yesterday saying I have taken over Ajuri Ngelale’s office. That office is only available for the leader of the team. And he was saying I am the spokesperson and that we are all servants of President Tinubu”.

“Daniel Bwala who use to criticise President Tinubu is now describing himself as a servant. This is the thing about transactional politics that we don’t understand”.
“I don’t think there is anybody on earth that will call me Reuben Abati a servant but some people are very comfortable with that title. They will say that they are servants and are happy to be servants”.
