Former minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami has expressed sadness over the death of a popular motivational from the northern part of the country, Abdullateef Aliyu Maiyaki, popularly known as Mufti Yaks.
Sources informed TheScrutinyNG that the late Niger state-born peace ambassador died after a brief illness. He was 20 years old.
Writing on his official Facebook, Pantami wrote “Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raajiun!
Just heard that our beloved son, Abdullateef Aliyu Maitaki, popularly known as MUFTI YAKS passes away. What a great loss!
Janaza by 10 am at Justice Maiyaki’s residence Dutsen Kura Gwari, Minnah. May the Almighty Allah admit him into Jannatul Firdaus”.
Born in 2004, the late Mufti Yaks was also an inspirational speaker who promoted peace through his teaching.
