He said the removal would help determine the actual petrol consumption in the country, as he confirmed ownership of two oil blocks in the upstream sector with an expected production date of next month. Amotekun Corps, the Western Nigeria Security Network, in Ondo State, has revealed arrest of 27 suspects over alleged kidnapping, stealing and other crimes. The state Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Mr Adetunji Adeleye, broke the news while parading the suspects before reporters yesterday in Akure, the Ondo State capital. Adeleye said the suspects, including four alleged kidnappers, were arrested in various parts of the state. Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly has said the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is not sincere in its pursuit of a case bothering on alleged fraud against former Governor Yahaya Bello. The Nigerian Army has revealed that its troops have killed eight terrorists and rescued about eight victims kidnapped by the insurgents in different parts of the country. The Nigerian Army, in a post on its official X-Handle on Monday, said the troops recovered a haul of firearms during the operations.
