Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe K1 De Ultimate has expressed deep disappointment and betrayal over fellow music icon, Kollington Ayinla’s absence at his mother’s burial ceremony.
K1 in an interview on Agbaletu TV, revealed that he had gone above and beyond to support Kollington during a similar moment of loss, footing the entire bill for Kollington’s mother’s burial and rallying high-profile guests to attend the event.
K1 questioned why Kollington would disregard him in such a way, especially since he is in good health and based in Nigeria.
According to K1, the excuse that Kollington had called him and didn’t get a response from him didn’t sit well with him, leaving him feeling angry and hurt.
“I am so angry with Alhaji Kollington because he never showed up to offer his condolences when I lost my mum. When his own mother passed away, I supported him to give his mum a befitting burial. I brought a lot of dignitaries to the burial for him and I handled all the finances 100%. See how he paid me back”.
“He is in Nigeria, hale and hearty and the only excuse he gave was that he called me and I didn’t pick up. Am I not supposed to be angry?”
